Las margaritas
El otro día fui al cine a ver Las margaritas. Una película checa del año 66.
La película fue una recomendación de Rocío. En principio ella iba a venir también, pero no pudo, y fue una lastima porque me hubiera gustado que me explicara ciertas escenas y ambientara un poco.
Es una película rara. Bastante rara. Pero muy fácil de ver, en mi opinión. Cuenta la historia de dos chicas que un día concluyen que todo está mal, y por tanto ellas tienen que ser malas para actuar en consecuencia. Bueno, he dicho cuenta la historia pero la película cuenta poco en el sentido tradicional de la película. La película muestra escenas, que no tendrían que ir ordenadas en el tiempo ni parece importar, para hacernos sentir rechazo.
Es una comedia, extraña, pero una comedia, y tiene elementos muy diversos. Por ejemplo, hay secuencias que parecen sacadas del cine mudo de Buster Keaton. Otras, diálogos entre las protagonistas, ofrecen una gesticulación propia del anime japonés. También hay deformaciones del plano, efectos comunes en videoclips y escenas irreales, que después simplemente se ignoran.
En definitiva, una tarde distinta, y una película que me gustaría repetir.

que bueno¡¡ nos abia q la traduccion era esa¡¡¡ de hecho en checho no creo recordar que se llame las margaritas, el titulo es Daisies, jajaja me acordao sola¡¡¡ Es que tenia una asignatura entera de cine checo y tuvimso un ciclo de Chitylova, al directora de esta pelicula, luego vimos Prefab story.. Amso que tengo una critica y todo de la peli que escribi en ingles,a si que machcaita machacaita ajaj y anda¡ alguien más en el mudnoq ue nosea checo la ah visto¡¡
Para mi fue una apranoia, imaginate¡¡¡ En checo subtitulado en inglés..Y como no es rara ya de por si…

Last day, when we watched Chytilova’s film I thought that the film is only about two angry girls who use men for food… But after that I remember your question: Do you think this is a feminist film? And, yes, its possible, really it’s a surrealist film and a lot of thing that they do, I don’t understand like time when they are cut pieces of paper with a scissors, or the butterflies for everywhere… but I think its an expression of fredoom, perhaps. But They are thinking sometimes about existentialist question like its they exist or not exist, and why… It’s possible that the director try to subvert the patriarchal system and gender stereotypes with theses chapters : Marie 1 y MArie 2, (why has they the same name? I don´t it’s possible, that they has the same personality like a photocopy, speacially when they are playing to cut paper fruit and to eat them in a surrealist game and a girl asks: “Say it’s great,” the other one answers, “I’ll say what I want.” ), are a female representation of a word where it’s not necessary a order in this society or gender stereotypes, questioning the importance and the value of any system: political, social or cultural. Its a new feminist tipical of 60s ( sex is very important, the nature, the clothes, the freedom…) and the film described from an alternative point of view that, over the years, has been shared by non-conformists, artists and intellectuals.
I think Marie 1 and Marie 2 use men for food, becouse, its a way to be critical about the conventional male-dominated culture, where women need men who give them love and money to live… They don’t need a employ or a man to eat everyday.
And masculine characters are very very ridiculous, becouse it’s the focus of the jokes… In a Woody Allen’s movies, women are pretties and stupid, here men are very similar.
The film is very simple but very subjective too, filled with a sense of irony and humour, there are two girls who are not survivor, they enjoy life.
The audacity of their rebellious spirit culminates in a spectacular food fight in a hall, laid out in advance for a grand banquet. After this, the two promise to mend their ways and make attempts to repair the damage they have done, (I don’t understand how they arrive there and why they decided to repair all).
They are rebel heroines, so free and independent, there is no place for a limiting definition of gender roles.
And last thing I watched in the film is as Chytilova plays with the colours in a pop culture.

Pues los enlaces en general (los que están marcados como tales) y algún que otro apartado más dentro de la parte de “categorías”. Lo comprobaría con más detalle pero es que me voy que he quedado con el japo para que me explique unas cosas. Ya si eso cuando te pille algún día por msn te digo.

Me encantó esta peli! La verdad es que al principio es un poco rayante, sobre todo cuando las tipas se ponen a bailar sin sentido alguno, pero luego, cuando empiezas a ver esas cosas como “normales” dentro del contexto de la peli, descubres el auténtico significado de las cosas, comprendes por qué actúan así, porque todo es tan raro, tan ridículo incluso… No sé, me ha parecido una joyita, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta la época en que se hizo, creemos que ahora estamos innovando mucho en todo lo referente a cómo se construyen narraciones audiovisuales pero en realidad no son más que copias de lo que ya hicieron los auténticos pioneros hace años, muchos años.*JM*

La verdad es que a mí también me gusto mucho. Aunque como dije, me gustaría verla otra vez para meditar ciertos aspectos.
